Student Accommodations and Test-Bookings

Welcome to The University of Winnipeg Accessibility Services (AS) Student Accommodations and Test-Booking web portal. You may be asked to sign in using your WebAdvisor account username and password.

To receive your test/exam accommodations online (such as tests in Nexus), please  book  through the Student Portal (for term tests, 2 weeks prior to the date of the test, and for final exams 4 weeks prior to the exam). This will ensure that your professor receives both the automatically generated email stating the full duration for your test/exams, and the reminder email of your upcoming test/exams.

About the portal:

    1. View the academic accommodations that have been approved based on the medical documentation you submitted
    2. Request all your course-specific accommodations for each term and request to export just your classroom-related accommodations in an Accommodations Letter (also known as the Letter of Accommodations) to your course instructor(s)
    3. Book an in-person written format test, exam, midterm or quiz to be completed through the AS Test Centre (once you have already submitted a request for course-specific accommodations for that course)
    4. Check your upcoming scheduled tests, exams, midterms or quizzes with AS

If you have already used Step 1 of our student web portal to submit a request for course-specific accommodations, then you will be able to use the "Schedule a test, midterm or quiz" link in the menu above in order to book a test in that course. From here, you may also choose another menu option that you would like to use.

Visit our website or read the step-by-step instructions to test/exam booking for a more detailed walkthrough of steps and answers to frequently-asked questions. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please contact your Accessibility Advisor.

NOTE: Do not use the website to schedule test/exam accommodations for:
- Pop quizzes or a hands-on, practical test/exam (e.g. for a science or computer lab, needing course-specific software or equipment) or a test/exam that involves group work - first contact your instructor immediately to discuss your accommodations since alternate arrangements may need to be made
- Tests/exams for the joint program in Psychiatric Nursing with Brandon University (instead, please e-mail us with the complete details at least 2 weeks in advance to submit your request).
